Cliff Notes:

Ahhh... great weekend and good to see “old” friends again.  Please visit our 2006 page to view the photos and get a hint of what went on... in case you don’t remember (or were taking a nap...(no names here, yet).

I hope to have other photos from years past on this site soon, but I was pleasantly surprised to see how many we have!  Don’t worry, I’ll clean them up so you can show your family.

All in all, it was a great time.  Nobody got hurt... well..., I did fall down after Jon and I were collecting wood for Ernie’s fire.  (see Cow tipping).

I would like to hand out an Unsung Hero award to Gene, the cooking machine.  I vote that he gets this every year for his role in keeping us fed.  Once again, Gene came through.  I wonder if he makes house calls?

As far as hidden gems?   Ernie was his usual self.  Ernie is the king of Fire.  He knows how to get it going, what he doesn’t know is how to put it out.  Kept us laughing.

Fitzy was pretty quiet... maybe he was nervous around us?  That is until we asked him to go get some wood.  Great move to have his Sawzall handy.
Oh, I forgot to mention Rasberry Stolli and Sprite.  I have to admit, it is pretty good.

Clanga put on a great weekend event, starting with the go-karts, and keeping us happy with his iPod.

The Curran tag team of Jon and Kenny (who now both reside in Chicago) were always “on their game”.  It was good to see them again; its tough to get a word in though.
Great game Kenny:  Canadian Crud.  Oh also, sorry to hear about your Father-in-law.
Kenny played bongos on Ernies head while he slept.  Shoulda taken that nap Ernie.
Kenny.... can you say shrinkage?

Gerry doesn’t change... and now we all know why he requests the only bedroom on the first floor (his snoring and bathroom habits).  Oh, “hey, someone clogged the toilet again!!!”  Ok, Gerry.  Sure.

Erik (Spanky) hasn’t changed either.  Still good looking, and people kept on asking him why he “hung” around these older folks.  They couldn’t believe he was the same age.  (still got all his hair).
Erik was also complaining of the beer selection.  Didn’t seem to slow him down though.

Speaking of beer... good to see Dave request Coronas.  Lets see... we bought a 12 pack, and at the end of the weekend we had 8 left... hmmm, sound like a good decision to buy them... NOT.  (I think of the 4 missing, 2 were dropped).  I’ll make sure we bring the 8 remaining to next years event for you.

Clance?  Ahhh.  Great to see you man, especially after what you’ve gone through.  No complaints here.  But next year, I guarantee you that the grace period will be over.  You’ll make the news then.
Although your nomination speech was BS...

Good to get back home where I can get some sleep.

Brotherly yours, (and your 2007 Director)

Erik (the grape)

SOME IMPORTANT THINGS TO NOTE:

1.  WE MAKE STUFF UP.  We do not engage in rumour, we indulge in humour and fiction.  Do not believe or rely on what we write!  If you do, you're even more brain dead than us!

2.  WE ARE NOT A POLITICAL SITE.  For all the kaypohs and muckrakers out there, we have completely no political agenda whatsoever. Our main aim is to celebrate all the nonsensical parts of ABC life.  We make fun of members in a completely democratic way. (If you feel that you or people you know have not been made fun of, please let us know so that we can address the oversight.)

3.  WE USE SOME STRONG LANGUAGE. We have employed in certain parts of this site language which might be upsetting to some and which some consider unsuitable for children. (Even though most kids would not only be manifestly familiar with the language used here, they're probably more comfortable with and adept at using the terms than you.)
